The application of computer forensic techniques is a complex specialism and requires considerable training, knowledge and experience. Furthermore, the forensic examiner needs to have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and be able to report findings in the correct format, backing it up if required by presenting in person to a court or tribunal.
