About - Aperio Digital Investigations
Computer forensics is a major discipline. Itís not just about computers anymore. Computer forensics, or more accurately digital investigations, involves more than just a desktop PC. Laptops, sat navs, mobile phones, digital cameras, fax machines - all have a data history which can be traced and recovered; they all tell their own story. But understanding that story and telling it in plain English needs experience and skill.
The Aperio DI team has an enviable record and an unrivalled skill-set, honed through many years of experience.
During a thirty year police career, Dick was for many years a Fraud Squad detective investigating large scale and commercial fraud. His specialism in computer crime investigation and computer evidence recovery began in 1988. He later set up and ran a Hi Tech Crime Unit for his police force. It was throughout this time that he gained his vast experience in both fraud and computer investigation. He also excelled in the preparation and presentation of evidence at court proceedings. After his years in the public sector, Dick moved to private industry work where, as a Forensic Laboratory Manager, he brought his logical methodology and digital forensic skills to deliver a first class service to clients.
